Wonderful old hotel in a charming position in the middle of Legazpia. Nice, motivated staff towards all guests. Extremely spacious room overlooking garden. A lot of goodies for breakfast. Location near the center and Basque country mountains and a residential area.

My room was clean, and the staff was motivated. The location of this hotel not far from the Basque Country, the center area and the center of the village was excellent and charming. It also was in the middle of jackson.

Our room had everything we needed - central heating, a TV with lots of channels, and a handy writing table. the location was super charming, right in the heart of the city, just a mile away from Culver's for some quick and tasty eats. 🌟.

stumbled upon this charming townhouse hotel, staff was lovely and accommodating despite the language barrier. Friday night on the main walkway was a hoot with delicious tapas plates and great wine. A real night out!
Smoking allowed in bar, fumes permeated entire hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Mauleon for a week while exploring the Basque Country. The historic building, with its charming owl on the stairway, added a unique touch to our stay. The location in the mountains was perfect for outdoor adventures, and the staff, especially Txomin, were friendly and helpful. The bar-restaurant's terraces provided a relaxing spot to enjoy Basque cuisine. The hotel's preservation of the beautiful wood floors and architecture added to its character. a wonderful stay.
Can recommend this hotel.

The value for my money at Hotel Mauleon was great, as I got to stay in a beautiful old building with character and well-preserved features. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the location in the heart of the town was fantastic. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Txomin who spoke excellent English and provided helpful assistance.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was if there were more variety in the options available.

Great location for exploring the Basque region or for an overnight stay. Good local bars/restaurants within walking distance. the staff were lovely and could not be more accommodating.
The cleanliness of the bathrooms was very disappointing. It seemed like a rushed job with hair on the floor and a dirty bath curtain.

The hotel's decoration and ambiance reminded me of a bygone era, with its beautiful wood interior and classic architecture. It brought back memories of a time when attention to detail and charm were valued. The hotel's general areas were easily accessible for senior people like myself, allowing me to navigate around without any difficulty.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff when it came to organizing activities or outings suitable for senior guests. The children working there seemed preoccupied and less attentive to the specific needs and interests of older individuals in search of a comfortable and enjoyable vacation.
